Finding your (new) way

Well I am happy to say that we are onto a new pose this week! Warrior 3 is here to welcome us with all her strength and flight and beautiful balance.

Balance, we're all working so hard right now to find her aren't we? How do we find joy and act responsibly? How do we keep vigilant to the need to act for change and not be overwhelmed by the enormity of the task? How do we find joy for ourselves and our little people whilst being undone by so many unknowns?

This week on the mat in our warrior 3 we look at right relationship and right action- checking in with what we are asking the lumbar spine and the hips specifically to do as a means to make our pose stronger, more stabile and better for our longterm spine health. In addition we are exploring off the mat how to stay present and listen to how all that is happening is guiding us to be more of service and in the end much more joyful.

What is your spine doing - is it being put in a position of strength or being asked to suffer- we can't fix the suffering by putting a pretty skirt over it (amazing metaphor from one of our amazing yoginis)- we have to totally rebuild the shape to stop the cycle of pain.

Where in your life are you trying to put a pretty skirt on something that just needs to be rebuilt?

Why is now the best possible opportunity for that?

Here is what I know- your spirit choose this lifetime knowing that you would be right here right now a part of this global awakening so that you could heal/learn/free something you need to and be a part of the healing at large. I also know that your Inner Teacher is pointing you right where you need to go. You know those things you keep calling obstacles- they're sign posts- where are they pointing?!
