A mist for the face and body keeps me cool during the hot summer days and is a reminder for me to take a moment, breathe and enjoy the cooling scent.
After a face mist I get my hand fan out and cool down. It's fun and makes me feel elegant even while sweating.
This is my summertime moisturizer for the face and body, it is light, hydrating and calms the skin.
Neem has anti-inflammatory properties to help soothe irritated or inflamed skin. It is an antiseptic and antibacterial oil and I recommend it for everyone's medicine cabinet.
Sandalwood is cooling and makes a great summer face mask. Sandalwood has anti-inflammatory properties and can help soothe sunburn skin or rashes. It is rich in antioxidants that help to smooth and tone the skin. It is good for all skin types especially Pitta skin during the summer season.
This Pranayama cools the mind and body, calms inflammation of the skin and body. Inhale through a curled tongue and feel the cool air enter and exhale through the nose. If you are not able to curl the tongue, expose the teeth (kind of like a fake smile) and inhale through the mouth. Exhale through the nose. This is a rather discreet Pranayama practice and I use it throughout the day even in public.
