INTRODUCING: The Power of Independent Play

A Special Collaboration with Dr. Sarah Bren

Hello, Wonderful (and Maybe a Bit Weary) Parents!

As we move into the latter half of summer, (or anytime of the year when you find yourself on this blog post!)many of us are feeling a little more than just the heat—it's the full-time job of keeping our kids entertained and engaged. If you're feeling the summer burnout, you're definitely not alone!

About a month ago, we teased a potential partnership over on Instagram, and now we're thrilled to announce that the time has come! Dr. Sarah Bren and I are teaming up to bring you an exciting week filled with valuable content designed to help you encourage independent play in your children. Our goal is to equip you with practical tools and insights to foster a bit more solo time for your kids, and maybe a well-deserved break for you.

We'll be sharing a wealth of resources throughout this blog series. It all culminates in a unique, two-part live workshop (there will be an on demand version of the course available shortly as well!) —so stay tuned! You won't want to miss out on this fantastic opportunity to learn and grow alongside us. For now you can check out the series of posts that follow and get started reclaiming balance for your family and giving the gift of solo play to your child(ren) and giving BACK to you!

With great respect,
Nicole & Sarah

P.S. Why Are a Yoga Therapist and a Psychologist Teaming Up? You might be wondering what a yoga therapist and a psychologist are doing together. The answer is simple: we both believe in the transformative power of independent play for the whole family. While Dr. Sarah offers deep psychological insights into child development, I bring a spiritual and holistic approach to empowering parents to create family centered homes. Together, we're creating a comprehensive strategy that benefits both parents and children.
