Hello Sadhakas!
It’s week 5 of handstand ON THE MAT this week. And as usual in the last week of the month this is a week about energy. This week in the flow I ask you to pick your “thing” the part of the pose that you are working on. We all have that place we can feel stuck in this shape. I ask you to pick that spot and rather than look at it like the thing that is “wrong” or keeping you back, I ask you to relabel it. Relabel it as the space you are being invited to rise up to meet. You are in fact capable of doing the thing you are trying to do. You are being called up to meet that space in you. Instead of feeling stuck, feel excited to meet that challenge and the next piece of who you really are. Don’t resist is because it is hard. Welcome it because it is. When we welcome that which challenges us it has the ability to move through us, to do what it came to do and then to leave. If we resist it, it’s the same thing as putting it in our energetic pocket and holding onto it for later. We tell the universe no I’ll hang on to that, I want more of it. SO, if you are ready to move on from something, the best thing you can do is welcome it, give it a great big hug and then watch it melt away and leave behind a calmer more loving and joyful version of you.
